    Brass

Simichrome polish works well too. To do inlays on the stock, put a dab on a pencil eraser. You can get right to the edge without getting any polish on the wood.

    Refinish a curly maple flintlock

I quit using 0000 years ago and switched to 320. It works better. There is no need to use 600, you're just wasting your time and sandpaper. You're just smoothing wood, not polishing metal.

    Grain in Curly Ash?

Here's another ash stock I did a while back. I put on a coat of Constantine's grain filler (no longer available) rubbed that back and then stained it with LMF Lancaster Maple stain.

    LMF Barrel Brown Carding

The fine wire wheel that you can get from Brownell's works really well for carding between coats. Apply the LMF sparingly, just enough to moisten the barrel. One bottle should do several guns. Definitely go to the LMF website for the detailed directions.

Opinions please on Birchwood Casey Super Blue?

    Brownell's Oxpho-Blue works well too.

    Solder paste product.

I believe you have a jar of Swif 95 solder paste. I used it for years. It was great stuff. Unfortunately they do not make it anymore. Now I use Solder-It paste in a tube. I find it at Home Depot.
