    Those in the box are wasp nest , found under the eves and corners of barnes and such, the big paper footballs are bald faced hornet nest, harvest them in the winter, all the hornets die and drop out, there are combs inside those too but the paper can be used too.

    Ive always used hickory soaked in linseed oil for a week or so. I use to keep several soaking in a pvc tube for when i needed one. Ive had several pedersolis, nice guns but really bad ramrods, get em at track of the wolf, dont trust hardware store dowel

    Finaly got to see the gun today MAN! It weighs a ton! 53 inch 60 cal barrel, Teak stock. Its an India gun, but its not over polished like most, very nicely done good fit, I have to oil fish the stock, harden the hammer and lighten the springs, very cool brass lock face

    Just bought inexpencive powderhorn on fleabay, its got some floral carving in it and a nice looking spout, the end plug is kinda big and clunky looking but I'll be able to redo it and make it look better, it will be paired with a Hudson valley fowler I have yet to recieve( its at a buddies house...

    I always used the precut paper from smiling fox, a bit pricey but is tough enough for the job, lubed the ball end and they were deadly
