    Davis siler lock help

    The leather i am using is very thin. Deer hide. Not thick enough to make a difference. Just got back from the range and it shot and functioned great. Just can't keep it in half ****, fine for the line but not safe for hunting.

    I purchased a cva mountain rifle in 58 cal. An older gentleman redid the stock to look like curly maple and the barrel was unfired. Unfortunately before he could shoot it he passed away. He did a fine job. I have shot it and it shoots fantastic. Missing adjustment screw for the set trigger...

    Bought a new to me rifle!

    Sparks good. It is marked RE Davis on the inside of the plate. They must have made a Siler lock at one point in time.
