    I Told a Big, Fat Lie a Couple of Weeks Ago

    I've been hunting whitetails and mule deer 73 years and I ain't about to quit now! I've killed many.....and if Good Lord lets me I'm gonna kill some more! I've never shot does....except on 7 different occasions when asked to do so! I quit counting 25 years ago at 427.

    If you're gonna smoke a mould use a piece of masking tape to smoke it with! It gives off good carbon right well! I have done it in previous times. The most important thing is to keep the lead up to temp 750-810F and don't OVERHEAT the mould such that the cast item has a 'frosted' appearance!

    Screw bullets! Why I shoot RB only! Unless a false muzzle is used to seat a bullet its dang difficult to keep the bullet seated straight! :doh:

    The big problem with new casters is that the lead is NOT kept hot enough! Heat should at least be betwixt 750-810F. Before starting to cast, the mould should be preheated. I did this over an open flame stovetop. Hold the mould into the flame for a length of time such that when you remove the...
