SOLD 1863 Springfield by Miroku (price reduced)

You got better eyes than me, they all look blue. Maybe some rubbing due to taking the bands in and off?

SOLD 1863 Springfield by Miroku (price reduced)

On these Springfield's the barrel band springs and rear sights were blued, the lock could be case hardened. The rest of the gun has the armoury bright finish. I believe the gun is correct the way it is.

    Help with flintlock musket please

The metal bands on the front look Mediterranean or African. It might not even be as old as the Civil War. The stock is fancier than normal, has a French look.

    1864 Colt Musket

It's a Colt lockplate, but a Springfield hammer it looks like, so from the other pic it appeared as a Springfield. I believe Colt barrels had STEEL stamped on the opposite side by the VP and Eagle. See if that's there, then you could say a Colt musket with a replacemen hammer. I agree just leave...

    1864 Colt Musket

Maybe the picture, but the hammer makes it look like a Model 1863 Springfield, Colts had rounded hammers like P53 Enfield's. I believe Bobby Hoyt can line the barrel so that you have rifling, but it would be for shooting a minie ball. If the slot isn't disturbed, you can buy a replacement rear...

    Rogers rangers musket photos please?

It also depends on what time period, early war or later. When the companies were raised, most came with the gun they owned. A few might have showed up without a gun, but the men that came to these companies were mostly used to being in the woods, and would have been armed.

    Any idea what this is?

Looks like a converted French M1787 Naval pistol. Or at least something like it

Yeah the Brit made Enfield's for their military, or trade on the open market were much better made than that one. Id say repro.
