What is your method to combat offhand wobble?

There will always be a little wobble, the trick is to minimize it. Your natural point of aim is all important! Stand with your feet as wide as your hips, at about 90 degrees to the target. get the buttplate as high as you can in your shoulder, if you tilt your head down onto the cheekpiece it...

    Smooth bores

Once I settled on a working load, (80 gr 3f pillow ticking patch and .600 rb) I was ready to go! 50-60 yards and I hold my own with those rifled guns. Shot loads have been a little more difficult. For me smoothbore is the only way to go.

New life for a old knife

Thats a really nice job bringing an old blade back to life. Years back I found an old stainless filleting blade at work. It was pretty bent up, only about three inches off the tip was usable. I set it in a deer leg bone, and it has become the go to skinning knife at deer camp. Thats where it is...

I am curious what paper you all use for your cartridges I have been using paint masking paper I got before I retired. I’ve tried newsprint but had no luck with it- too flimsy. I’m also shooting a 62 cal smoothbore, I roll it using a brass rod I turned to .600 I tie the top off and also tie under...
