    LOVE My Crockett!!!

I like your setup! Do you find many arrowheads are there? Looks like it is near a creek or river in the picture, I bet there would be some good place to look for some.

Log Cabin Shop Cast Round Balls

I have bought it off of here before. If you know anyone that works on power lines have them save you some old insulator pins. That is where I get most of mine. The metal pin has the end dipped in lead with threads cut in it for insulators to screw onto.

Log Cabin Shop Cast Round Balls

I started casting for my revolvers 13 years ago with a lee 2 cavity mold, small cast iron pot, cheap lead ladle, and a single burner Coleman stove. That setup worked for many winters! Just recently got a lee electric led pot a couple of winters ago.

If the price is right, get a small amount and test them out. They are a great business to deal with.

    shipping revolvers

I have shipped revolvers through USPS. They asked if it was a gun, I said no. I took the nipples out and put in a zip lock bag. Then it became a non functioning replica.

    A Random Question

I had a sizable pice of flint break off and hit my father in the cheek to the right of me. I also recommend wearing a form of eye protection and hearing protection (where applicable). If you are like me, when something like that crosses my mind it usually will happen sometime or another. Have...

    36 ,40 which I ne

I went hunting in south GA a few times, and they allow .32 cal or larger. I believe if I was to hunt deer with my .32 I’d wanna take head shots only, and probably 50 yards or less.

I have never had the opportunity to use any other twist rate in that caliber. I’m sure there are other twist ratios that work well.

My Kibler has 1:48 twist. Shoots round ball really well.

    Is this sight on backwards?

I have never thought about it that way, that makes sense. I always thought it was just for glare. Learn something new everyday. Thanks for sharing that.

That is really cool. I have never had one shed after I shot it. Had he already shed the other antler before you saw him?

    BP volume

I’m sure that could vary. A teaspoon might be hard to get the exact same amount in every time. If you have a volume powder measure you might take a volume reading of a few different scoops and get an average of how many grains a Tsp is by volume.
