I just can't like the TC Renegade

My Renegade fits me fine. Or....maybe after shooting it for 15 years, I've learned how to fit it :idunno:

    Load for new GM barrel

The sights are a little different than the ones on my older Renegade barrel. The rear is an adjustable Williams that is simmilar to the Renegade but smaller, has the same bolt pattern so can be swapped for the origional. Front sight is a modern looking blade type with a brass pin on top....yuk.

I got it from Track. They only have the .50 in stock now or I'd probly gone with the .54 myself. I don't care much for the sights or the limp noodle ramrod it came with, but thats changed easy enough.

:hmm: :headslap: This is great info. There's no icon for a light bulb over my head or I'd use that!!!

    Load for new GM barrel

Thanks all. Ohio ramrod, just a question and please excuse my lack of knowledge. What is this "leather over powder wad" thing about ? Thats something I'm not familiar with, except for shotgun ? And FFF, the instructions that came with the barrel said use only FF or equiv. Guess I should be...

    Load for new GM barrel

I've never been happy with the 1-48 twist of the factory barrel on my .50cal TC Rennegade so I recently purchased a drop in Green Mountain barrel. It's a 32" 1-70 twist for patched round balls. My question is where should I start with... #1- patch thickness #2- lube #3- ball diameter #4- powder...
