I just don’t feel like going up to the club alone, and I’m secretly hoping to find a flintlock Fowler for the next range trip.

Has anyone ever made a broadsword

    Tips for building quickly/efficiently?

2 things I learned from my mentor very early on,”slow is smooth, smooth is fast” and “if you can’t do it with a hand tool, a power tool will just screw it up faster” Thank you Mr. Marino for taking the time to teach me.

Wedge pin insertion- Right to Left or Left-Right ?

I was wondering this the other day, the pictures of the one I’m modeling my GPR build on has them in with the heads on the left.

WANTED that kit you have and can't get around to finishing.

Just keep pushing, April 7 2022 I officially became a 3 time cancer survivor. Build another one, I’m going to.

    Lyman GP kit

Had to, probably going to ditch the Allen head screw and just peen it in and file it flush. It’s interfering with nipple at the moment and it really doesn’t need to be there.

How much patch lube to use ?

You will get as many answers to this as to what to use for lube. I shoot with a wet patch, straight olive oil for lube. It works for me.
