I bought a 1/4x28 Bottom Tap off eBay for $6.95 shipped. When it arrived, I found out the seller had ordered it from Home Depot! I didn't know they sold single taps that's why I went to eBay. Having a Home Depot account, I thought "I could have done that!" Walt

The browned barrel is 33" x 7/8". Overall length is 48 3/8". Lop is 14". It weighs 8 pounds. The stock appears to be Walnut. The furniture is iron. There is no nose cap. The front sight is a blade. The notch rear sight is adjustable for windage only. I have no idea when this was made...

I'm looking for a Steel Ram Rod that fits a Zoli Zouave Carbine . It's 25.5" x 3/16". I could use a full-length Rod and cut it down. Does anybody have one or know which supplier might? Thanks in Advance! Walt

I agree. I bought mine to shoot from the bench. I couldn't imagine trying to hold that long barrel steady! Walt

I did not know that. My knowledge of him is limited. I know he made Hawken Barrels during the Hawken Craze of days gone by. I've got a 45-caliber Long Rifle with one of his barrels on it. Thanks for the insight! Walt

Been a while since I looked at one. Went back into my photos and you're almost correct. It's a Zouave carbine! But with a Winchester Style rear sight like the Buffalo Hunter. That's where I got confused. Still a neat little gun! Thanks! Walt

I picked these up at a Gun Show recently. The stocks have cracks. My thinking is wood glue and a clamp on the lighter colored because it's more flexible. Epoxy as a filler with no clamp for the darker. I’m open to suggestions from more seasoned Gunsmiths, Professional or not. Thanks! Walt
