My first was an Investarm Bridger Hawken percussion in 45. I’ve shot it a lot. I began to not like the looks of it so I ordered some parts and reworked it a few months ago. Now I really like the looks of it.
There is a learning curve like anything else. I enjoy making paper cartridges for my pistols, caps also. It’s really nice to have them all made up while shootIng.
I’ve used small pistol primers often on an 1858 Remington, CVA mountain rifle, investarm hawken and TC Cherokee rifles. I cut the aquarium Tube about 1/4” or so. It works great.
A few weeks ago I purchased a pistol belt clip from Deer Creek. It’s for a CVA Mountain Pistol but will work for other pistol types. I think it was $7.
