A fire stick is that stick used to scrap against a knife blade of similar object to create sparks into tinder to start a fire in primitive conditions.

My wheels are hardened and I can use fire sticks......they last very long and cause no damage to the wheel.

I faced that problem when I first started making......so instead of pyrite I use 'fire sticks'. They don't wear out, give enough sparks the light powder.... and not expensive, don't break.....and what all else.

No, I did not make any of those guns. But I did make a lock similar to the third from the right....mine was/is a little more fancy. I had that lock sitting on my book case till I decided to make an Algerian Miquelet using it..... not a good choice....didn't spark well. I wish I coulld send you...
