    Pedersoli vs. Loyalist Arms Indian

I'm happy with both of mine My Brothers pedersoli looks like a piece of pine covered in plastic I prefer a more natural finish with some wood grain but that's just me this is my 1733 French flintlock pistol along with thefusil de chasse

    Pedersoli vs. Loyalist Arms Indian

I have owned pedersoli as well as India guns I prefer the India guns because of the price and original look Italian guns look like they were produced on CNC computer-driven machines which they were there too perfect to clean

My brother and I have six of their guns fusil de chasse a couple of 1733 french pistols and a blunderbuss all of which came with beautiful wood although we re finished and did some lock work to make them smoother I really like their guns and think they are very good you will hear a lot of...

Agree wholeheartedly there's a couple of fellows on YouTube who have bought track of the Wolf guns which where poorly fitted and charged a premium price

Middlesex Village Trading - Any good?

Pedersoli makes a good product you will have to work on the locks because they will crush your flints that being said they're definitely worth a 10% markup over the India guns unfortunately they're 90% more expensive

Middlesex Village Trading - Any good?

Not a kit but I treated that way because you have to do some work on the springs and stock in order to get it the way you want plenty of videos on YouTube

Middlesex Village Trading - Any good?

I always dealt with military heritage in Ontario having it sent here to Georgia was no problem I don't care for the finish on the stock but that's an easy fix for me and of the 4 or 5 I have they all spark well and look beautiful

    Imported Guns Are Junk

A lot of the guys on YouTube spend five or six thousand dollars on a custom-made Flintlock snub their noses at Imports but when you're paying that kind of money you can do that my Curry burner has never given me any trouble after spending a few hours tuning the lock

I don't understand used gun pricing

I tend to buy things at small auctions around the country! I recently bought a uberti walker for $200 put it on GunBroker it's sold for 500. I had nothing to do with setting the price it was what people were willing to pay

    Flintlock Rifle Availability?

Don't discount loyalist arms or military heritage. They offer historic guns at a price point around $500. My experience has been India $500 Italian guns $1,000 custom guns 1500 and up. Used flinters can be had across the entire Spectrum kits the same applies.

    Lets talk firestarting

Down here in Georgia a lot of people use Punkwood although I don't know how to find it. I always use charcloth. And drop it in a bird's nest made from crushed pine needles! My Pine Needle Supply is refurbished every fall when my favorite intersections get heavy traffic! The tires break the Woody...

My brother and I both have them from MH..We love them they are more historically accurate than many of the repros out there. flinternick is correct in that the lock will need to be tuned by a competent gunsmith Fortunately I have been working on these for twenty years.I tell people that they are...
