The snowshoes worked fine for the primitive biathlon. The trails were indeed well groomed, and it was great exercise. Itw as only 6 degrees on the starting line, but over 100 degrees at the finish. Don't know why I wore such heavy clothing.

You can pretty much determine the value of anything, by how many people tell you, YOU don't deserve it. No one begrudges you an ugly gun. True...

The barrel does have a Chambers White Lightning liner. Ignition is excellent

It's a 1-66" twist. My wife shoots a very similar rifle with a .45 caliber Rice barrel. Pictured below is one of her sighters. (She always shoots sighters before she gets serious about accuracy.)
