There is no such thing as a minimum powder charge to seat a ball. It is common practice to put a mere 5, 10, 15grns powder in under a dry ball to bloop it out.

You might PM member 'oldnamvet'...he had a custom .40cal mold made for a 200grn REAL conical. Did some range and field testing with him. Extremely accurate out of the .40cal Late Lancaster I used it in, took a beautiful 8 pointer with it, etc.

The only restrictions for Turkey are: 1) Cannot use a RIFLE; 2) A shotgun / smoothbore cannot be larger than 10ga. 3) There are no restrictions on projectiles.
