    Did some finger weaving today

I had made an Inkle loom and then read a lot that it is not PC, so into the wood pile it went. SO the loom itself might not be PC, but the product itself, may be indistinguishable from a strap made on a tape loom, is PC? But in an effort to be as PC as I possibly can, with what I do, I plan to...

If no smoke its done. pull it out and...

    Ignition

It is my belief that that is where the fowling shot idea came from. Folks take a clean rifle, put a load in it and head to the woods. Oil seeps up nipple and contaminates the cap. NO BOOM! The process of loading forces air out the nipple which pulls oil from the chamber into the nipple...

    Did some finger weaving today

So I have a question for all you who are way more knowledgeable about such things than I. How can you tell the difference between a strap that was done on a Tape loom as opposed to one that was done on an Inkle Loom. I have read, and been told that a strap from an Inkle loom is not PC because...

    Turkey Loads?

You shouldn't have too much trouble as long as you know where your smoothie patterns with that load at each distance. And stay within those known distances. You have to remind yourself that the gun you are shooting is not a modern suppository gun and you can not reach out and touch the bird. If...

How thick does a loading block need to be?

I like mine a little thinner than Ball diameter so a little bit of the patched ball sticks out on one side. in then put some sticking out of both sides so I don't have to worry about which side of the block I use. For hunting they usually only have two or three holes. This one is for my .62 fowler.
