Hi All, I just acquired a 28 ga. flintlock, spanish made and am new to this. My questions are, what loads should I use, shot size, powder amount etc.. The bore measures 0.544 at the muzzle, what choke might this be? And can I shoot a patched round ball from this gun?

Dry fired it once and that seemed to break things up. The nipple came out with some force after that, Thanks for the help.

I tried to remove the nipple from my muzzleloader tonight and with quite a bit of force cannot get it to move. I am sure many of you have had this problem, what to do? I know that I should use anti seize on the threads but the gun is new to me and I don't know the history. Help!
