Just FYI, Cabela is now adding a $20 charge (hazmat fee) for delivery of caps to the store for pickup.

Today it is a matter of being able to shoot. #11 caps are rarely available these days so alternatives are needed. I’m looking at musket caps and 209 primers.

Thanks Richard. I normally buy them from Basspro/Cabelas but they are perpetually out of stock. I’ve received emails from them saying stock has been replenished but still shows out of stock and can’t be ordered on line. So I’m still looking.

Anyone know a good source for #11 caps that will ship? I try to use Cabela because they ship to a nearby store for pickup. They send notification of new stock and I respond immediately to place an order and they are ‘out of stock’ again. Ugh.
