    Has anyone tried these molds?

"And, why are you in such a hurry?" Not in a hurry at all, just saw it and thought Hmmm that looks interesting but I don't think it would work for me. I have single and double cavity molds and do just fine with them.

    Has anyone tried these molds?

I was looking at the Lee 6 cavity .490 molds at TOW, looks interesting but since I use a dipper instead of a bottom pour I don't know if it would work very well for me.

    Biggest Movie/TV ML Gaffs

Just watched April Morning on Netflix. When Moses Cooper aka Tommy Lee Jones was loading his rifle it looked alot like my Dixie Tennesse Mountain rifle with the grease hole in the butt stock and the cleaning jag attached to the ram rod.

    Maker of this rifle

It shoots better than I do. :haha: The lock can be finiky at times like every other flinter I have messed with but it normally works ok. Is there a drop in replacement lock that would fit. The only thing I don't care for is that I have to set the trigger before the hammer will stay at full cock.

    Maker of this rifle

I bought this flintlock rifle a few years ago the owner didn't know/remember the maker. It has a 45cal GR Douglas barrel with a makers mark stamped on the upper side with a dimond with a "D" and 97, the engraved lock has Spain stamped on the back of the plate, silver mounted maple stock. The...

    Knife sheath and bag additions

The stitches are hand done I just mark 'em, punch 'em, and stitch away. I try to keep all the stitching equal because it bugs me if it isn't.

    Knife sheath and bag additions

Knocked out a couple of knife sheaths one for a Green River 6 inch butcher the other for an old Echo Forge ten inch butcher. Attached the green river sheath to my shooting bag also added a short starter holder to the strap.

    Pillow Ticking

It's not that this ticking is thin it's because it is such a tight weave it doesn't deform or squeeze down as easily as the regular blue and white striped ticking. Both the flowered and blue/white ticking measure 14 thousandths but when shooting a .495 ball and blue/white I can shoot all day...

    Pillow Ticking

 "ha ha" it is mighty purty, but it works great if you need a tight patch for target shooting. The only problem with it is I have to wipe between shots.

    Pillow Ticking

Trying to find some more of this pillow ticking. I bought several yards many years ago and I am now running low but can't find it anywhere. It is a tight weave featherproof ticking all I can find at the stores is of a looser weave.

    Panther Mini Wall or wedge

The mini wall is 8'w x 10'l x 7'h the sides are 30" tall compared to about 4' on a standard wall tent and only uses 3 poles to set up.

    Panther Mini Wall or wedge

I like having a cot also since there are snakes and other critters here in Texas also. Had a big possum crawl across my chest once when I was out under the stars needless to say I didn't sleep very much the rest of the night. :shocked2:
