    Pedersoli Blue Ridge rifle

It is a copy of the Hatfield mountian rifle carried in the Appalachian Mountains well into the 1900s. Made famous by the Hatfields and the McCoys.

    .45 pig balls?

Shoot them inside 75 yards at the base of the ear and don't worry about it. Bullet placement makes up for caliber. I have killed a truck load of Texas feral hogs under 175 lbs with my forty and round ball.

Deer Creek CVA type Mountain Rifle

Can anyone tell me of their experience with this rifle in flintlock form? It looks just like the old CVA mountain rifle. Is it really american made or just remarketed? ::

    Flint 40made meat!

I love the forty and am still amazed by what it can do. I do not understand all those that are against using it for deer and hogs. They should study the bore size of most of the longhunters on the early frontier.

    Barking Squirrels

I have found that making a sucking noise on the back of my finger which squeaks like a young squirrel in pain works great at getting squirrels to show themselves. My .32 crockett will drop them like a rock. Only problem is I now want to try a flinter. Dang this stuff is an addiction. Is there...
