    Austin & Halleck Opinions

All indications i can find say's A & H are actually very well manufactured firearms . I know personally that their mod. 420 inline is an awesome muzzlestuffer . Had one for a couple years before i decided that sidelocks was where i wanted to be . Guess you can say that "beauty is in the eye of...

I don't understand used gun pricing

Exactly HOW can the pricing of a "used gun" be influenced by "AVAILABILITY" ! The gun is for sale , hence , it is AVAILABLE ! The pricing is the desire of some huckster to take the un-knowing for a ride ,(in my opinion) , so he can buy a new gun with little layout of extra cash for his...

Traditions is the "Harbor Freight Tools" of Muzzleloading?

Don't know why anyone feels the need to denigrate a , (i find) , pretty accurate and reliable muzzle loader , just because it did not cost over a grand !! Me , i like my Pedersoli , T/Cs , and my traditions , NONE of which cost me that much , but shoot better than i do !! I have looked at your...

    What was your first Muzzleloader?

T.C. Hawken , .50 cal ,kit ! Wife got it for me after i made a comment about shooting my "06" across a canyon to kill a deer as kinda un-sporting ! Some gun-shop dealer told her this would up the competition !! He was right , and i still have and hunt with that .50 ! LUV IT !!

    Shooting way low!

"The HIGHER the rear sight , the HIGHER the point of impact" , and rifle is shooting LOW !!! Me thinks there is a problem that is not so clear here .

    Sighting in?

NO !! Do not file the front sight shorter !!! THE SHORTER THE "FRONT" SIGHT , THE HIGHER YOUR POINT OF AIM WILL BE TO ATTAIN THE SAME SIGHT-PICTURE AS BEFORE YOU SHORTENED IT !!!!!!
