    Beretta O/U nipples size

Does anyone know the thread size/pitch of the nipples for a Beretta TriCennennial Over/Under Muzzleloader? Just picked up a shooter and while Caywood is jug choking it for me I'd like to get a new set of Ampco nipples and I haven't a clue as to the thread pitch/size. Any help will be appreciated.

    Pedersoli SXS questions

Happy Veterans Day! I am in the process of working up loads for my new to me Pedersoli 12 gauge sxs. I noticed that if one of the hammers is in half **** the opposite trigger has an excessive pull weight. Is this a purpose design? Also, I read in the owner's manual that it isn't recommended...

    Friendship Line Matches

Thank you all for the insight. I really don't NEED a new rifle but  I have this outstanding Allen box lock and it needs a use. I'm still going to mull this over but I think I'm leaning more towards a .45, if anything just to give me a warm fuzzy. In my mind it'll handle the wind better...

    Friendship Line Matches

I'm not trying to start a caliber war and I understand there is no accuracy forum.... I'm just looking for personal observations from those whom have attended the national shoots and have seen what the "big league boys" are using caliber wise for the unlimited offhand rifle matches. I shoot...

Anybody have a line on #11s?

Thank you all for the replies. I have a cousin who lives part time in Kansas city, MO, who is bringing me back two or three thousand caps. My area is completely dry and will be that way for the foreseeable future. I even have a local Bass Pro Shops and they are out with no idea when they will...

Anybody have a line on #11s?

Apparently they are made with unicorn milk now. If anyone has a line on them online I'd appreciate the info. Thanks.

    GPR hammer is a drag

Thank you all for your input! I checked all the fasteners and none were loose. Also, no casting lines causing the tumbler have seating issues. What I did notice is a little looseness in the tumbler even with the screws tight (a little lateral wiggle). So My fix was two fold. First I...

    Sights for competion

The rear sight is actually two sights that I combined into one. The base and mount are a Lyman 57GPR and the armature is from a Lyman 90MJT. I wanted a click finger adjustments.

    Sights for competion

Late to the party! The state club that I shoot at allows any iron sighted rifle as long as it's shooting patch ball. This, I'm sure, is to encourage as many people to attend as possible. Also, that same club hosts the state shoot and when doing so they follow NMLRA rules. I would expect to...

    GPR hammer is a drag

Thank you all for the replies. After taking the lock completely apart I noticed that the tumbler sits crooked in the locks hole (as if the mainspring is pushing it and causing it to bind). All screws were/are tight. My next step will be to determine if there are any casting lines that are not...

    GPR hammer is a drag

Excellent.... Didn't think about the hammer to nipple alignment. Grinding appears to be the best option so far.

    GPR hammer is a drag

My apologies beforehand if this has been covered elsewhere. This has been an ongoing problem since I've owned this rifle. The hammer will drag on the lock to the point of grinding off the browning. Should I shim the hammer or file down the hammer? Any help is welcome.

    Post browning question

Well, I browned another Green mountain barrel and didn't use water and baking soda to neutralize the process..... What I did do is dunk the barrel in a tube of oil for 24 hours and set in the sun light for the better part of a day. Its been about a year now and I keep the barrel heavily lubed...

    my half-breed rifles

I'm flattered but I haven't been able to attend any shoots here in Louisiana for almost a year. I'm in class and clinic full time and can't seem to find the time to practice. :shake:

    my half-breed rifles

Took me a while to respond to this post because I never took pictures of my "Half-breed". It's a Lyman GPR with a Rice .40 caliber match grade barrel. I installed a Lyman 57 GPR rear sight base with a Lyman 90 MJT upper armature with a Merit aperture. I also installed a Lyman 20 MJT front...
