    thanks for the replies. i won't be posting progress for a while because i'm taking my time. just started sanding metal parts. i'm gonna try a couple inlays and maybe a simple carving. who knows when i'll get done. if it turns out decent i'll eventually post a picture. it's a first try...

    thanks for the replies. i just wanted to make sure. other than that everything else seems good. i was surprised how well everything fit, better than i expected. you can't beat the price from tj general and they had it in the mail in three days. anyway thanks

    i just got a gpr fint rifle kit from tj general store (great price). the parts all fit real well but i believe i have the wrong tang for this rifle. does anyone know if it's supposed to have a drilled and tapped hole in the center of tang. isn't that for the gpr hunter model.

    i filed down the sear spring as suggested and had a good result. it's acceptable, seems like a fairly normal pull now. thanks zonie

    Thanks for reply zonie. i did have the spring off but only polished area where it touches sear cam and the cam of sear, also added oil and that was it. i wasn't sure about what i could file off of the sear. so thanks for info. i guess i just need to work with those areas till i get some good...

    hi this is my first post, thanks for reading. i have a pedersoli kentucky flintlock pistol that has a very hard trigger pull and hammer cock also. i tried polishing the sear spring and cam on sear. is that in the right direction as far as easing up this trigger pull. does any one know how to...
