    Good morning- Hopefully you meant .595 hardball not .695. I think you would need to take as many variables out of this test possible. Have your different test subject ( lead orbs) separated, but tested with same patch thickness, same powder load, same lube, same loading and swabbing procedure...

    Yea they wouldn't fit an Indian musket but they could fit an Armi Sport or Pedersoli 1842 musket.

    Saw a posting somewhere- on here I believe- a gentelman created his own Palmetto by buying a repo 1842 Springfield, bought the brass hardware from the The Rifle Shoppe, and found a Palmetto lock plate from Lodgewood.

    Pedersoli'sHarper Ferry pistol ?

    Anyone know if Pedersoli has corrected the lock geometery issues on this pistol. I have read this particular pistol can be problematic. Looking to get a flintlock pistol and like the looks of this one, but want something reliable.
