Moroccan Afedali Snaphaunce rebuild
The wear in the lock internals might be more a factor of fine blown sand . Oil it it makes a grinding paste & you CANT stop wind blown sand it gets every where as I can personally attest being in two days of one .on top of a truck . the Bedow I met wrapped his lock with rag on that account...- Rudyard

Just found this post of Tube lock by Wm Moore Then I see ' Felt Wad'already covered it. Nice gun Ive a much worn double 14 bore By Chas' Moore but its just the copper cap. The hobby shop thin tube is what ide use useing the blue stuff from the old 126 primers ( made for 303 reloads)...- Rudyard

British Light Sea Service Dragoon project !

Gun range lead concerns
We in Nelson NZ have just the same situation only one man in a remote place being a PITA he bought the place 40 odd years ago but now moans about the noise !. Police use it three times mid week but he doesn't moan to them. A chuffin nuisance but this isn't unusual these days . Rudyard- Rudyard

They kept it And Macou until recent times same with Portugues Timor Did'nt seem to develop it much. The Chinees kept Macou for gambling .I travelled in Timor 1969 found it archaic but pleasant . The principal currency seemed to be Escudos' & Cows . Cow's for boats & muskets at least ...- Rudyard

I had an old rough lock perhaps Algerian So I used an old shotgun Barrel & stocked it Catalonian style. Mostly made it to set an original Belt Hook into context but did shoot it. Good on yer Bill . Looks I repeated my ealrier post Oh well Rudyard- Rudyard

18 Guage double rifle.
1 in 60 inch could be either Or.
