    I haver a CVA Hawkin in 50 cal, if I were to get a second barrel for it could I have it boared out to 20 ga so it would be a smooth boar shot gun by simply chaging the barrel. this being that a 20 ga is .615 in and a 50 cal is just .115 in smaller i would think that by removing thr rifeling...

    Another question if you start with 50g of fffg and get great groups at 50 yds, and then say go to a 70g fffg for hunting does the point of impact change greatly?

    Leaving gun loaded?

    I am using bore butter for my lube so there is no chance of corosion, but maybe a cardboard plug is a good idea I would assume it will effect the way it shoots, so I woukd have to sight it in this way. Thanks for all the info Dan

    I have done some research and am finding that a 1 in 70 twist is the best for a patched round ball, have you also found this to be true? Thanks

    1:70 twist barrel ?

    I live in Canada and would like a 1:70 twist barrel for a T/C Hawken, as I understand this is the most accurate for round ball loads. Who would be able to sell me one here in Canada? Thanks
