    I have a .45 in flint lock I gave $179.00 for it in 1977,is it ever a nice shooting rifle I have taken 7 deer withit with it with PRB and 90 grains of 3f goex then bout a GM.54 drop in Barrel for it.You sure got a deal on that one.

    The drop in GM .54 I got, has the 11/16 20 thread I wanted it for my flint .45 so I had to make a new breach plug.as they don't make the .54 with a flint breach plug.

    Ihave unbreached a number of GM & TC barrels using a barrel vice and action wrench.and there not bad todo .but you are going to hvea to check that thread size the old TC's were 11/16 20 and this new ones I don't know what they were.

    I have a GM .54 15/16 on mine and what a shooter it is with no problems.I have shot as high as 140 gr of 3 f in it with! ,.535PRB and it gets the job done have taken 7 Deer with it and 7 with the .45 Barrel that came on the rifle in 1977.

    .45 T/C load ==> 50 meters/100meters

    I have a TC .45 flintlock and have used 90grains of 3f goex in it for about every ting! Deer, metal targets out to 100 yards with no problem.
