    tc new englander

I had a new englander in good shape but it was a leftie .54 got it second hand before i knew much about ML in general. I know it would shoot 390gr great plains bullets with a bore button and 100gr of powder and with an 80gr load it would shoot PRB and hit just a bit low at 100yds. I sold it...

    Conicals and Overpowder "Patch" Wad

I use the hornady great plains and they expand well. i can use my caliper and tell the difference in not only expansion of the nose but the base. hornady great plains also seem to be the better choice for my renegade and took many deer with my new englander .54.

    Couple of questions....

Bought my renegade off of gunbroker, didn't even look like it was ever fired. no flash marks around the nipple. No powder residue at all. if it ever was fired, it was cleaned by somene far better than i could ever do it. Gunbroker has great deals.

I tried the inline omega but without a percussion hammer it wasn't the same so i sold it and went...
