Selling to pay for some vet bills and other expenses… Never fired! What you see down the barrel is factory grease. Now about the rifle, it is a .50 caliber plains rifle by the importer Gemmer and Clemens here out of Oregon. This was a factory rifle that I reworked. I re sanded and stained the stock and varnished with tru oil. The escetcheons and nose cap were polished to bare metal and oil to look more Hawken like. I lightly followed a video by Bob Woodfill to get this look, the nose cap on these rifles have to be bedded due to where the pin is so if it falls it won’t crack the wood or pop off. I also added these brass tacks, glass beads, and glass beaded turkey feather to the rifle. They can be removed to your liking. These ram rods that come with aren’t the best I hear but can be replaced down the road or whatever you choose. I had big plans for this rifle but they are going to have to wait. It will come with a cleaning jag and extra primitive sight. Rifle will be shipped in a padded hard case bubble wrapped inside a box for safety. I paid $650 plus shipping for it, I’m looking to get $525 free shipping for it to anywhere legal in the lower 48. I take cash, personal check, usps money order. I will take PayPal solely if you use friends and family and leave anything gun related out of the notes because it will freeze the sale. Will ship upon payment. As for questions, please ask away, thanks.

Is this the present investarms iteration od the Lyman GPR?
Yes sir it is. Formerly known as the Lyman Great Plains Rifle. This is the current Investarms Gemmer Hawken imported by Gemmer and Clemens out of Oregon. Pretty much the same thing. This one has a 2023 date code.
