A friend has this 10 gauge India made shotgun she inherited from her father, and she would like to sell it. I told her that I would post it on here for her.
The barrels and locks are stamped Ganesh Khatu & Co. Jodhpur. According to the stamping on the barrel, this gun was made in 1970. The barrels are 31.5" long. The overall length is 47.75". The gun weighs 7 lbs 13 oz.
The overall condition is very good. There is 1 small sliver of wood missing from in front of the LH lock, Other than that, the stock is in good shape. There are some places where the finish has chipped off. I think that it was refinished at some point with possibly a polyurethane type finish.
The barrels are in really good shape with some minor scratches in the bluing. The bores in both barrels are excellent.
I removed, cleaned and oiled the locks. Both are in good shape and lock up positively in halfcock and fullcock.
She is asking$200 plus shipping.
