There certainly is truth in what you said. I will add though that I know folks who burn lots of powder and still can't make small groups off hand. The key to small groups are powder burned and a lot of shots down range.
What you stated is fact! Some people will never be a crack shot but these people can improve. I have taught several young people how to shoot and most shot fairly well after just a few lessons. I also found that women learn faster than men? I suppose they don't have the macho plague that men seem to have? The one major thing I found that wasn't mental or physical concerning M.L. was over charging their rifle. There is no logical reason that I know of for anyone to use heavy loads? It just isn't condusive to accurate shooting. There certainly is truth in what you said. I will add though that I know folks who burn lots of powder and still can't make small groups off hand.
Good shots have certain learned abilities as well as built in (natural) ones. Practice brings out the best in both realms.
Hmmm. That's why I no longer shoot over 35 - 40 yards at anything. PolecatYou and me both
