Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
Yep, I also got that notification and ordered 1000. With shipping and hazmat fees it comes to about $15 per tin for me. Better than $22/tin not so locally. Plus gas, tolls, time, and single tin limits. Worth it to me to be done with acquiring caps. This, along with what I already have, will probably set me up for whatever shooting years I have left.
I got in on the last batch of those that Midway had and posted it up here, too. I think they lasted 12 hours at that time. Getting on their product notification list is critical!
I checked yesterday and they were "Available ", I don't need any so I didn't buy any. I just like to keep track of supplies. Then a few hours later "Temporarily Unavailable "
The CCI musket caps are gone too
I'm thinking , everyone just gobbled up those #11's as soon as they were available
It does pay to keep an eye on Midway , they had the CCI Musket caps everyone will tell you are "garbage" for $70 per 1,000 and .451 round balls for $6 a box. I stocked up on both because I have guns that I know can use them.
Midway has random sales that seem to last for half a day and then go away.
