#11 magnum caps: Winchester?

My local supplier has stopped carrying CCI magnum #11's and started carrying Winchester magnum caps. Has anyone tried them? How do they compare to the CCI's?

I have heard that they are really the same caps just repackaged. I don't know but have heard. I have shot some and they work just fine. :hmm:

I've also heard they are just rebranded CCI's.

That's been the rumor. But in any case anybody happy with CCIs seem to be happy with Winchester even if there are some minor differences. Go get 'em.

I've had no problems with them using pyrodex in traditionals.

The store I went to today had one pack of RWS caps and I bought those.Ill pick up a pack of the Winchesters and give them a try.

They've been making my guns go bang just fine since last Fall (I use FFFg Holy Black).

I have a tin of CCI #11s and a tin of Winchester #11s and they are clearly different sizes. The CCIs barely fit on my rifle but they work really well on my revolver (which says it needs #10). It makes me wonder what will happen when I open the next tin.

Found Winchester Mags at Wally World in Omaha Saturday. Didn't know about the quality so I left them there. Since it seems my local supply of Remingtons has dried up I may have to go back.

Winchester magnum caps will serve you well. I have used them without any problems.

They work fine for me! My very comprehensive dirt blowing test shows no difference. The rifles shoot the same with both.
