Daryl, in my double a .690 rd ball is a tight fit in a cup. When i tried them in it a while back, before i got a mould, i was getting good groups using both barrel, with a single fixed sight on the rib, out to 50 yds. Didn't try any further than that, as most of the deer i have shot have been that close or closer.

I got two zouaves back in the late 50's only needed sight changes and trigger work. still using them. The harper's is another story. Got that in the mid 60's. I replaced the Daisey stock with measurements off an origional, They tapped a long hole for the breech plug that didn't screw in all that way. So I cut off part of the breech and refit the plug snug up to the rifling. re-worked the lock and cut the reenforced section and bent the cock forward and silver soldered the cut joint. Giving a better angle of attack. made new sights and used a different butt plate and trigger guard,,,[ TG-MA-99B ] TOW catalog. Shoots good and looks good/correct. That is what I needed to do to the Harpers compared to the Zoo. Seen several of the L&C commemoratives and don't think much of them....Too much $$$ and could use some work,,,,but,,thats just me.

Thanks Wulf, after all is said and done, i think i am going to pass on the Harpers Ferry. Too many things seem to be wrong with them. Take care.
