Colloquially known as the Brazilian light minie rifle, what we have here is really a Beligian copy of an P60 British Army short rifle with Beligian sights and French barrel bands. This particular rifle still retains the Bronze crest on the wrist. Some usual pitting around the bolster with orginals. Lock internals are sound and have no damage or corrosion. The stock is free of cracks, however is missing a small piece behind the nipple.

This rifle has been bedded and re rifled by Whitacre and has a taller front sight that has been soldered on.

I have more pics but my internet is slow 🐌

Asking $1300 or trade for burnside carbine, maynard or other interesting black powder firearms.
