Hello...my name is Dave...my dad passed away and left me some firearms...im not really into muzzleloading anymore...I was a few years ago, but even then it was mostly muzzleloading rifles...well anyway, im trying to sell some of the muzzleloading revolvers he left me. I'm hoping to put any sales made towards a head stone or grave marker....thank you !

For sale : A 1862 Dance revolver...antiqued and defarbed 1966 Uberti Dance model. No proof marks or lettering of any kind just a serial number "000" Bright bore, perfect timing, no cylinder ring...my dad's notes say it was action tuned (?) In 1980...it is smooth as silk, very nice...no issues

All right, forgive my ignorance, but what is "defarbing"? Looking at pics I have to assume it is the removal of the blueing.

No proof marks and no ugly wording anywhere on the revolver, just like the original
