Randall's shop foreman, Pete Hamilton, helped me with my first knife back in 1971. Advice only. He was not allowed to acually show me much, but let me stand in the doorway and watch the grinding and polishing. Bo Randall was a super nice gentleman of the highest order. He acually bought one of my English Bowies for his collection in 1977. He enjoyed putting it side by side with his D.E. Henry English Bowie with the names down, and would ask his knife savy guests to pick the Henry from the two. He told me they always chose mine.
