This listing is for a pair of 18th century style trousers with Fall front. (Back story: these trousers were my late wife’s that she wore in her persona of “Mad Ann Bailey.” She was a full member of the SIMON GIRTY LONG RIFLES and could shoot with the best of us. “TWO PONIES”, her Indian name, could dress as fine a lady of the 18th Century or when in the woods, run with the scouts. Her choice of garments then were male. These trousers, actually researched as to the validity of indigo-dyed denim, had drawn the attention of many a historian, included the respected and now late Beth Gilgun.)
The trousers measure a 32” waist and a 30 “ inseam. I am wearing them in the images. I have a 33-34” waist and 30” inseam. As can be seen, closures are with Pewter-type buttons including the working pockets. The entire trousers are machine sewn and upon close inspection that can be seen. They are in great shape. I doubt if they were worn more than a few times. I would ask $30 shipped. I accept PP, MO, CHECK, or $$.
