Well the more I learn..

The box says AA which is according to the internet 1975.


But the gun says BH which is 2009.

So, it looks like not the original box.

Box appears to be original... Has the same serial number as the gun. That is a pair of ones, not two A's.
Is that what you were looking at?

IDK, BH shows 1996 in my reference. I think the AA you are referring to are the 11334, the 11 of the serial number.
Pretty crappy chicken scrawl for hand writing on the box if you ask me. lol

FWIW the serial number on the box is written in the European style. Specifically, the number 1.
