Wesson style rifle with brass receiver cast around the forged steel breech plug. There is no right angle from the nipple to the main charge, it is curved so a pipe cleaner can be used to clean that area. This was used in competition in the early 80’s. I do not know the twist rate. I have not fired this rifle. The bore is clean and a tightly patched ball of .451 showed no patch abrasion when pushed through with the barrel removed. I feel it is worn considerably however. There again, I have not fired this so I have no idea if it will perform well or not. The rear trigger must bet set in order to ****. To fire, set rear trigger then bring to half ****, place cap with a slim capper then bring to full **** and use front trigger. The mechanics, wood is excellent.
