I do not wish to post the pictures. It is acceptable, though. They should be returned. It is an outdated, subpar stand, one that can be abandoned, but it is evident that it is still utilized. I would not use it. Rusted, old, weathered, and an outdated climber model - would you climb that? Anyway, either he uses it annually, repeating the process year after year, or he has no intention of returning to that stand, which is why it is considered a subpar stand. Is it one or the other?

And you know... They could be acceptable, it might be gone two weeks before he hunts, I think. I don't know. I've seen people bury salt blocks early, and they're almost gone or gone before the season. But I'm curious, and I'm going to investigate what's happening. Just saying looks like one thing, it could be another. It's a crazy risk, though. And if it's the bad thing, then I'm not even allowed to hunt anywhere near there or even want to be around there. So, no, I don't want it.

Last year I went hunting for the first time at 25 sat in a stand and honestly didn't like it at all found it rather boring. This year though I went out with my Girlfriends Dad again and he showed me how to track, spot rubs, scrapes, etc. spent the whole time walking around in the woods and I loved it I completely get it now and cannot wait to go again! Most fun I've ever had not shooting my gun.

OK what's the vote..

Next year walk up with a trash bag and hand it them ands say never hunt around here again. And then just walk away.

Or

Bring a warden and it's sorry there the person that puts anyone hunting around there at risk so yea they ruin it for everyone.

You know like.. if you don't know someone's tossing corn out there.

You shoot a deer around there.

the deer you shoot.. guts full of corn..

you got corn gut pile right at your stand.

I heard that ounce.. guy. Shot a deer full of corn.

Yep. It happens. And not a farm field or DNR food plot for miles🤔

I've personally seen so much BS from todays Blame Commission , I make an all out effort to keep my distance from them.
I've had some encounters with the FWC and have admit that they are pretty cool.
If they catch ya lying and violating they will bite. I did run in to a hardball one once. A true Richard Cranium.

I believe these two young individuals were legitimate hunters. However, I had never seen them before, and they were present on opening day. They successfully harvested a doe on the opposite side of the lake. I attempted to locate the exact spot by following the drag marks, which led me to the other side of the lake. Notably, they have not returned to the area. They claimed to have never been there before. Something about this situation seems suspicious. Nevertheless, I must acknowledge that the distance they dragged the doe was considerable, and I opted not to continue further. The individuals appeared to be in their early twenties. Given the distance, it is understandable that they would not want to repeat the effort. Afterward, I discovered what seemed to be a previous hunting site, but it was old and yielded nothing. It is plausible that the area was previously hunted by younger individuals. Unfortunately, it has been too long since the incident, and I doubt I could locate the exact spot again.

Just the old man I hunt with... That day he said those kids will be back, they're going to be hunting here now. I was like good, no one's here, we need someone to push deer maybe. It helps to have a few hunters around. That's far too carry anything into the woods though, even if it was legal, that's far too much to haul, which is why I think they were legitimate. Basically, they couldn't do much out there, at that distance you're not carrying a lot often, you would see them, I never saw them before. So I think they're legit. If they did one and done, that's a distance I'm not familiar with. They just put it there, got lucky, and aren't coming back, it's a grey area, I think, a little far to get a deer.

Here's an interesting observation: if you can, try baiting with water. That's an unconventional approach, isn't it? Water proved to be effective, and I created a small puddle using a tarp because I noticed deer were heading towards the lake due to the dry year. I observed that they avoided crossing the road and instead went between two houses. By creating a couple of puddles in the dry creek bed at the back of my yard, I was able to divert the deer from crossing the road. They started visiting the water source instead. It's remarkable how water, when placed in a strategic location, can be an effective attractant. I've been contemplating applying this concept elsewhere, and I plan to set up a camera to monitor the activity.

It's a substantial hill where I hunt, featuring water at the bottom that extends down to the lake. The terrain is dry at the top. I believe the entities residing there would appreciate it being placed in the correct spot. However, I am uncertain about how to fill it with water. Previously, I utilized a garden hose. Transporting water to that location is somewhat challenging due to the distance. I hope they will be satisfied with a couple of gallons.

There's s low spot over the power line.. it's kinda ok.. the power line is a hill but it's wavy.. the low area on the other side. That's a maybe

I can dig a water hole. Maybe it's low enough.

I believe we cannot cut any trees or vegetation. Similar to bow hunters, we cannot cut shooting lanes or paths. However, if one is bow hunting, some cutting is necessary. At the very least, a shooting lane is required.
