I shoot FFFG in all rifles except my .66.
Try both FFG and FFFG. FFFG will give better velocity for charge weight and usually less fouling.
Best hunting load will be probably be between 90-120 grains depending on the rifle.

Based entirely on my personal experiences, I have to say that barrels with a tighter bore for caliber seem to like larger kernel sizes than looser bored barrels. Just my opinion. (and every body's got one)

I think it depends on the gun, the patch/ball fit and the brand of powder. I am shooting Swiss. My 50cal.GPR and 50cal. Colrain barreled Beck, like 2F. I don't have any fouling issues at all, the guns shoot very accurately with it. But, you really need to test what your gun and you like.
