A couple of weeks ago I let my Fowler fall over and it split the stock. I wanted to be sure all the pin holes lined up so I glued it back together with the gun assembled. Worked great and you have to look hard to see the repair

Last weekend my son and grandson took me to a BP shoot and we had a great time and plan on going back every month.

That puts me needing a smooth bore for that match. Removing the front pin I wallowed out the pin hole on one side as I had to get fairly rough to get it out enough to pull.

I am thinking the best fix is to drill it out to 3/32 and use an over size pin.

Has anyone used TIG wire ?

It is easy to find around here in anything from brass to stainless

Thoughts?

I didn’t think about using a drill bit thanks.

I am still on the fence, I could put a dab of super glue in the wood and redrill to the original size
