I have been thinking about playing around with shooting conicals out of my .32. Is there anything out there for molds besides the t/c maxi? I’ve read totw used to carry a lee version but is now nla. What are my options and who has them? Thanks in advanced.

I have shot 32 conicals out of a couple of my TC 32s and they were very accurate however I have no use for them around here. The TC mould is the only one I know of I believe a member on here has cast some and sold them in the past. Someone may chime in.

You might want to re-think shoot conicals from your .32 if it has a slow twist. You will only get key holes in targets and the accuracy will be poor. The T/C cherokees had 1:30" twists and should be good with a conical bullet. You might want to check out the Air gun projectiles from AVS. They have what they call "slugs" with calibers from .17-.35.

Thought about trying a small paper patched 30 cal bullet or 32 cal pistol bullet in mine..... 85-90 grs I would imagine should stabilize in a 1:48... They are pretty short especially a hollow based was cutter. I can tell you for sure it won't stabilize the 170 grain Lee I shoot in one of my small unmentionables lmao hit full sideways at 25 yards though I didn't push it super hard..... Really not sure what a reasonably safe powder charge is with such a large bullet ... I can say 30 was fine but probably not stout enough to really engage the rifling.

I grabbed some.32 acp pistol bullets to try… but hopefully going to find a mold at some point

I saw this, that web site is so difficult for me to use I have not ordered any molds from them ever. I normally go with Mp molds and noe. I should order it just to give them a shot
His work is top notch, and you can customize anything however you like or draw up something completely different if he doesn't have a design that's close to what you like. I can't recommend him enough.

There was options for custom driving band size. I’m not sure how to guess that because I’d normally slug my bore to figure that out.

I have been wondering about this, too. I have a .32 cal Pedersoli kit waiting to be finished.

I see that Lee has an inexpensive mold for a .311 two band bullet weighing 93 grains.
I would assume the bullet would have to be patched with paper or cloth and riding on a felt wad since it is only .311.
Anyone tried this one?

I shoot Lee's .311's out of my percussion Pedersoli BlueRidge Rifle...1" to 3/4" groups at 50 yrds is the norm for that little pill.

The load for that gun is 28 grains of fffg & blue pillow ticking for a patch; Moose Milk lube.

Thanks!
That is what i was looking for.
I may pick up the Lee mold and experiment with the bullets after I get a good RB load going.
