.323 Round Ball Rifle

I’d try an 8mm Mauser reduced round ball load.
I did that once upon a time but this will be a patched round ball rifle. The ball diameter is determined by the 6" barrel revolver that the rifle will go with. The rifle barrel can be any bore diameter, just gonna make it go with the revolver.
 
I have an Ed Rayl 32 barrel that’s 1 in 48. I’d think a.333 barrel and patch would work. I’d want to be able to try different patch thickness to find the right load. Sounds like you have a pretty neat project on your hands.
