I believe your right, but wouldn't sureI think there were custom after market barrel with the 1 in 66 twist. T/C production barrels were button rifled 1 in 48.

I have a .50cal Pennsylvania Hunter with a factory 1:66" barrell and this is Engraved on the barrell. I believe my .45cal Seneca is 1:56"

Thanks for the info, my hunting buddyI have a .50 cal 32 inch barrel stamped thompson center 1:66 and a .54 cal 31 inch barrel 1:66 both are hawken but I've never seen a .45 hawken with 1:66
Yep, he has and has killed 2 eight points buck in the last 2 weekstell him to shot it first ,an accurate r/b load can be found. some make too much of twist. is he a competitive shooter??

They bought Tip Curtis’s inventory, Tip had a massive amount of barrel blanks on hand.
I purchased a couple from him years ago and built a barrel for my TC’s.
I have never seen a .45 cal 1 in 66 barrel for a TC from the Fox Ridge shop. Not too say they didn’t make one..
