I love it, no rifling but may as well have.

Fine powder, a thin card, two greased leather wads, a .440" ball then a thin card on top.

This new rabbit costume hat works a treat too!

Nicely done Nate. Those bunny's are near as big as Jess. I see that you are all bundled up, so how cold does it get there? Inquiring minds want to know. It was -7 earlier in the week in Indiana :hmm:

Oh it ain't too cold for you guys but for us it is, around 40f with a cold wind straight off the north Atlantic.
I hate getting cold, I have bad psoriasis and the cold makes it very painful.
Besides I have a lousy stinking cold bug.... again!

B

Hey Britt,
One of these days you need to put that gun on paper (20-25 yards) and show us what that smoothie can do.... I'm still thinking about having one made.

Good shooting Brit's

Looks like a nice light smoothrifle.
Did you have the bore reamed smooth?

How do you keep Jess from chasing those bunnies?

It was made so,the laws in some countries make owning a smooth bore verses a rifle easy, the UK included.
I could have a rifle added to my licence but not for hunting, target only!
Paradoxically, there are no restrictions for hunting with a smooth bore and a ball!! Go figure :youcrazy:

That's what happens when experts get involved in law writing!
Jess is getting better at staying by my side all the time, running after her if she does not return to my call gets her attention!!
Sometimes I still have her on a leash tied to me or my bag.
If she sees to many squirrel she can get a bit excited.

Very nice Nate!

Looks like a great gun to carry and proof is in the pudding. It indeed makes meat!

Like Colorado Clyde, I'd love to see pics of how she groups out to 50 and 100 yards (meters? :hmm: ).

Those rabbits remind me of our "Swamp" rabbits in very Southern Indiana. Hard to come across, but, when you do, one will fill up a skillet by itself.

Love the hat, but, don't want to hear complaints of the cold there please. We are to be below zero Fahrenheit several mornings in the next week. I'd wear that hat too no matter how it made me look :blah: .

Thanks for posting and take care, Skychief

I don't care how I look, it's far worse an image without the hat!!

My PERSONAL motto

I love to dress down. Went for breakfast with my son awhile back....his best friend (and close family friend) came by our table and he inquired if he wasn't embarrassed to be seen having a meal with me dressed so? "nah, folks just think I'm buying a homeless guy a meal" :rotf:
