WANTED .451 Whitworth *Parts Project

I am looking for a .451 reproduction Whitworth that is in rough shape requiring a new stock. I want to use the parts and cut down the barrel to 33" to build a historically accurate replica of a southern import 2 band Whitworth. I also have a Parker Hale 33" .577 barrel that I will interchange with it similar to the volunteer rifle concept. (The PH barrel is not for sale)

Good luck with that, Sir. Most of us cherish our Whitworth rifles, even though they might only be replicas. I waited almost three years for my first P-H replication - in England, where they were made - before Mr Hale was moved to sell me it.

I've never seen one in anything less than pristine condition, but I've seen a two-band Volunteer conversion done very well - you might have to settle for that.
