I sure like it.

I have one too. I walked into a gun shop and just bought it on a whim because it was so beautiful and in such nice condition.

And that whim has lead to a couple more barrels and another stock. Maybe because the first one is too pretty and minty to haul to the range often.

Ahh yes, the much maligned TC Hawken. Reviled for the audacity of assuming the Hawken name. Thoroughly loved however by tens of thousands of shooters and hunters who bought it as their first muzzzleloader. In many cases the only one ever owned and in many others the springboard into owning other more PC guns.

Still have mine 49 years later. Other guns have come and gone but not my old tc 50 (and 45 and 54 with additional barrels) No gun of mine, ml or suppository has killed more game than it. And almost exclusively with balls despite that useless 1:48 "compromise" twist.

Don't know why I've bothered to keep the useless piece of junk??

This is my first T/C Hawken that I recently acquired. It is in .50 and a shorty. I call her "Little LouLou". I also have one in .45 now too.
