Would a 9/16" (.563") wad punch produce OP cards and fiber wads useable in a .54 rifle barrel? Or would they be too big?

Thanks,
Don

That is what I use to make wads for my .54 Green Mountain barrel. If you want to take the easy way out,Precision Reloading sells card, fiber, and unlubed felt wads in 28 gauge at very reasonable prices.

who sells wad and punch tools? A buddy of mine has an antique shotgun reloading press for brass shotgun shells, (hulls?) that came in a box with an old old old can of black powder, about 10 brass shells no primers, and a wad punch in 12ga. A neat set up but it scared me.

Dixiegunworks carries them. Type in Wads in the search engine there.
